For almost eight years, Randee Staats has been the founder | and owner of S4 Search Partners in the business’s Sales Logistics, Supply Chain, & Operational segments. Randee lives out loud and puts people immediately at ease with his charismatic, warm, and engaging personality.

We met at an industrial space at The Anderson Building in Red Bank for his brand photoshoot. He arrived with two co-workers to lend support and capture Randee at work and behind-the-scenes imagery for his website and social media. Randee is working with brand strategist Alexis Albright Meschi, based in California, to redefine his brand, and I am providing the imagery to support his new brand identity! My goal for Randee’s shoot is to tell the story of brand and what differentiates him in his market.

The day started early with coffee and goodies to set the mood for the most fun I’ve EVER had on a brand shoot. We laughed so much, and Randee accommodated my every request for a gesture, smile, and pose for our three hours together. Honestly, we could have kept going because Randee was such a natural in front of the lens and was willing to do ANYTHING I asked him to do!

I cannot emphasize the importance of refreshing your brand every quarter or at least twice a year to tell a compelling, relevant story about you as the face behind your brand. Without modern, curated, on-brand, professional photos, your ideal clients cannot find you in the sea of businesses. Trust me, book a brand shoot with me, and you will stand out in your segment. The investment in yourself and professional photography will provide the Brand Lift you need to achieve your goals this year.

Tips on Planning a Brand Photoshoot

  • Have a clear vision and vibe for your brand and voice – who is your avatar?
  • Location, location, location is critical to aligning your images with your brand. Work with your photographer and get recommendations for rental locations that will convey the visual aesthetic on brand.
  • This is the time to curate your looks and book professional hair and makeup! Work with your photographer for referrals and suggestions. What you think works may not translate on camera.
  • The tools of your trade. Props are an essential part of telling your brand story visually. This is also the fun part!
  • Ladies – don’t forget a manicure and pedicure!
  • Men – don’t forget to shave, and I highly recommend getting your nails buffed!
