As an AD-approved interior and architectural photographer and a proud sponsor of the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse, I had the privilege of capturing the incredible work of some of the top designers in the industry. My goal is to provide designers with editorial-quality imagery that helps them present their work to future clients, editors, and publications. Rinehardt Miller Interiors brought a sophisticated balance of modern elegance and classic charm to the Brooklyn Designer Showhouse. Their space featured a harmonious blend of textures, from plush velvets to natural wood tones, creating a luxurious yet approachable environment. Through my lens, I framed each shot to guide the viewer’s eye through the room, from the neon art’s modern touch to the intricate detail of the fireplace and the well-styled bar area. My photography captured their attention to detail, especially in the custom cabinetry and soft lighting, which highlighted the cozy yet refined atmosphere they masterfully designed.

Working with Lauren Barry of Project Plant was a breath of fresh air—literally and figuratively! Her nature-inspired design brought lush greenery into the spotlight, adding a sense of tranquility and wellness to the showhouse. Through my lens, I framed the seating area to create a sense of intimacy, inviting the viewer to imagine themselves relaxing amidst the vibrant foliage. I highlighted the layered depth of the plants and the openness of the space, bringing attention to the peaceful, nature-infused design.

The team at Ingui Architecture & BAI Interiors transformed their space into a seamless blend of architectural innovation and inviting interiors. One of the standout features was their use of bold, vibrant cabinetry paired with sleek marble countertops, which created a bold yet refined contrast. My photography brought out the vibrancy of the design, showcasing not only the overall space but also the meticulous details, like the strategic lighting and the architectural lines that anchored the room. My goal was to create images that not only capture the beauty of their design but also the atmosphere of the space—inviting, modern, and timeless.

Kate McElhiney’s design brought bold color and playful patterns to the forefront of her showhouse space. My focus was on capturing her eye for statement pieces and the layered textures that created a rich, dynamic environment. Through my lens, I showcased the way each piece contributed to the overall composition—from the eye-catching pops of color to the subtle details that gave depth to the room. I paid close attention to how light interacted with the patterns and textures, ensuring that the images reflected the rich, tactile quality of the design. Kate’s design was a wonderful example of how to blend personality with functionality in a show-stopping way.

From bold color palettes to seamless architectural details, their work demonstrated how design can transform a space into a personal story. It was an honor to collaborate with such creative minds and to capture their designs in a way that allows their artistry to shine through.
