As featured in Martha Stewart, Padula shares her approach to the dark academia aesthetic: “A dark backdrop is essential for any space inspired by dark academia. Navy offers a softer alternative to black, creating a look that is both approachable and mysterious. Paired with warm brass accents, it achieves a timeless, moody elegance.” This bespoke bar, bathed in Farrow & Ball Down Pipe #26, exudes that very elegance. The rich navy cabinetry creates a striking backdrop for the brass mesh detailing and aged mirror backsplash, making the space feel as if it has always belonged.
